This presentation introduces BIFMA Compliant, BIFMA's voluntary conformance program that helps architects, designers, facility managers, and furniture buyers identify commercial furniture that has been tested to recognized ANSI/BIFMA safety and durability standards. The course explains BIFMA's role as an ANSI-accredited standards developer, how industry standards are created through a transparent, multi-stakeholder process, and why those standards are critical for reducing risk, improving product performance, and protecting end users. It also highlights the consequences of specifying furniture that has not been tested to industry standards, demonstrates how the BIFMA Compliant program provides independent oversight through accredited laboratory testing and audit requirements, and introduces the public BIFMA Compliant Product Registry as a trusted resource for verifying compliant products and making informed furniture purchasing decisions.

The $459 room rate is subject to applicable state and local taxes.
