10th Annual Green Chemistry & Commerce Council (GC3) Innovators Roundtable

This year’s Roundtable will bring together more than 150 experts from industry, government, academia and the non-profit sectors. An important element of the GC3’s mission is to build bridges across supply chains, sectors, and stakeholder groups. Past Roundtable participants have consistently identified networking opportunities as one of the most important aspects of the Roundtable.

This year, in additional to meals and breaks, there are several opportunities for participants to connect, create new relationships and learn from each other.

PROGRAM SESSION: GREEN CHEMISTRY PROBLEM SOLVING


When: Wednesday, April 29, 2015
Time: 1:45 pm to 3:00 pm
Where: Tiger Woods Center, Nike

In this session, Roundtable participants will engage with each other to identify solutions to real-world problems faced by their colleagues around technology, strategy, growing markets, and more. The goal of this session is to build and strengthen connections between participants, and develop ideas for collaborations, and identify steps to solve problems and suggestions for how the GC3 can support firms in accelerating green chemistry.

Hosted By Northwest Green Chemistry, Oregon Environment Council, Oregon BEST, Outdoor Industry Association, Business Oregon, and the Washington Department of Ecology

Leading Pacific Northwest organizations on advancing green chemistry are hosting a reception to welcome GC3 attendees to the region, provide informal networking time with regional stakeholders, and allow participants to learn about interesting green chemistry efforts underway in the reception. The reception will include a brief summary of recent activities of Northwest Green Chemistry Center by Ken Zarker from Washington Department of Ecology, a presentation on behalf of the Outdoor Industry Association by Drummond Lawson from Arc'teryx Equipment and will end with a presentation from Doug Keszler, Director of the Center for Sustainable Materials Chemistry at Oregon State University.

GC3 NETWORKING DINNER

Where: Oregon Zoo, Vista Room,4001 SW Canyon Rd, Portland, OR 97221

The annual networking dinner is a highlight of the GC3 experience where participants can share ideas, connect and build relationships and partnerships with other GC3 members, Roundtable participants, and invited guest. This year’s reception will be held at the Oregon Zoo (Vista Room).
